Work Injury Solutions
Dr. Greg Weidlich
The Focus
Soft tissue injuries often stem from repetitive stress and overexertion. By leveraging a doctor's expertise in injury prevention, these workplace injuries can be significantly reduced or even completely eradicated. Our injury prevention company prioritizes the well-being of individuals, focusing on the person rather than the ergonomics of the machines and equipment.
History
A Louisiana Pacific plant management team learned of Dr. Weidlich’s success in reducing repetitive stress and overexertion injuries. They inquired about the feasibility of providing on-site pre-medical services. A pilot program was initiated, targeting at-risk employees who had reported numbness, tingling, and/or pain. None of the employees in the program needed to visit a doctor or file a workers' compensation claim.

Company follow-up studies revealed substantial savings of over $300,000 in workers' compensation costs from the previous year.

Another company reported a 3 to 5 ROI relative to prior workers' compensation costs.

Since then, the program has been refined and adopted by several other companies, which are experiencing similar cost-saving benefits.

Work Injury Prevention Training
Dr. Weidlich expanded the program and very successfully provided ergonomics and work injury prevention training for team members, safety managers, and team leaders.
